Envornment Degradation and World Unity

The envirnoment degradation is one of the most important topic of discussion at world stage. After every few years of review scientist are coming with new statistics which are more alarming than their own previous version of reports. In recent time; global warming, lowering of ground water and air pollution are the hottest topic of discussion for the environmental scientist. The global warming is causing the polar ice to melt, thus causing submerging of low lying areas near sea. This is causing a lot of natural refugee, and in the recent times people affected from this natural refugee has gone into millions in the Asian subcontinent.

The environment degradation is mainly caused by the rampaged industrialization. All the spheres of earth are affected by the pollution, which includes ground water, ocean species, air and land. Ground water level are going down because of uncontrolled water pumping from the ground water resources by heavy industries like soft drinks, water bottle industry etc, which are mainly based on ground water utilization. Also there are countries where rules for ground water utilization is very old and these laws are not able to control the exploitation of ground water resources by multinational companies. Mining is adding to the problem of ground water problem causing toxic mixture in the ground water. Air pollution is more severe than ground water because almost all the energy resources are based on fossil fuels, that generates a lot of smoke while generating energy. It is causing havoc on the earth leading to the global warming problem. Icebergs at the poles are melting. The pattern of rain in many subcontinent is changing. Last is land exploitation because of excess load of human on land. Farming community using inorganic chemical for getting more output and thus land are become more useless after few years of over exploitation.

All the  factors of environment degradation are threatening the world. The earth is only known planet where living being survive because of its conducive natural environment formed by air and water. The natural balance is perturbed by the excess human intervention, becuse of human exploitation of natural resources. Hence, there are many problems coming because environment degradation like global warming, melting of polar ice, change in the rain pattern, ground water problem etc. All these are interrelated and have no boundaries of nation. All these affects globally. So people are now coming together to solve the problem unitedly. African and asian continent are facing with similar issues of environment degradation and raise in sea level. Also there are many other calamities like hurricane, tsunami etc comes because of environment degradation. So, none of the country is now safe and none of them can escape the problem raised by environment degradation.

So either people all over the world can come together to reduce the ever increasing problem of environment degradation or face the result.  Already many countries have come together to reduce their carbon emission to their 1990 emission level. This have never happened in past and none of politician , philosopher in the past have ever brought the world so close to solve any problem. Although few countries are still to give their commitment to fight against environment degradation but sooner or later they will have to come or face the consequences of environment problem. In the recent news an author has given the comment that “After 50 years, US president Mr Bush will not be remembered for Iraq war but he will be cursed because of his non commitment to fight again environment degradation.” The nature will not select boundaries for its consequences but people all around the world will face the problem. So there is no scope for the humanity to get away with the environment problem other than solving the problem unitedly.
